It is a well known fact that America is not an honest broker in the mideast peace process. Half of the machinery which makes up the American government is owned or operated or heavily influenced by Jewish interests. This makes a fair outcome unlikely. Add to this the fact that Israel would not accept a "fair" outcome, and then fairness becomes impossible. All of the Arab representatives know this going in. What the Arabs hope for is some movement in the peace process even if it is not fair to the Palestinians. The Arabs need an independent Palestinian state. This is their big hope. With America as broker, they know they will not get 1967 borders. They will be lucky to get part of the west bank, no right of return, and no reparations for Palestinian land and homes seized by Israel. Still, this would be movement. The question will be, will they get even this paltry offer. Keep in mind that Hamas will never stop attacking Israel. This item is not even on the table.
