IDF denies any plans of renewing conflict against Lebanon; Syria reportedly calling up reserves troops.

Syria and Hezbollah have gone on alert anticipating an Israeli attack on Lebanon, the London-based A-Sharq al-Awsat daily reported on Friday.

According to the report, Hezbollah has been monitoring with caution the reinforcement of Israel Defense Forces troops along the Lebanon border.

Hezbollah's deputy secretary general, Naeem Kassem, said the group was preparing to retaliate although it had no proof of any such Israeli plans.

Syria has meanwhile begun to call up reserves troops, including nationals residing in Lebanon.

The IDF responded to the report by denying any plans for renewing conflict against Lebanon.

... of blatantly defying UN resolutions to disarm Hezbollah's militant launchpad for acts of war against Israel in south Lebanon, is again kept awake at night hearing Beirut's sewer rats party it up in his former, Forbidden City stronghold, and he worries about instigating a deadlier round two which would extend this party to his new suite in Beirut's Iranian Embassy.

Every 10 to 15 years , Israel has to destroy their air force and most of their Russian tanks in order to remind them just who is the big dog in the Middle East. They then get back on their front porch and bay and bark until the next time they feel froggy and jump at Israel. The Syrians ultimately tuck tail between legs and run like scalded dogs back to Syria. Another war is always around the corner , and, another resounding defeat for Syria.

These guys have one thing in mind: finish Israel. Do they help in Haiti? Do they try to improve the lives of their people? Do they fight for women rights? Do they write books? Do they let their children play (not with guns and Hezbo flags)?

More likely a response to numerous statements culminating this week by an un-named American source that delivery of the SA2 Anti Aircraft missiles to Lebanon is a redline which would mean that Israel would likely attack Lebanon. Well if the SA-2 Anti aircraft missile system is already in Lebanon it is a done deal. I expect the recent military movements by Israel where they have place further military units at the Northern Border with Lebanon, and complained about static bombs 1000 metres inside lebanon indicates Israel is in the final stages of preperation to attack Lebanon. Netanyahu hasn't exactly rushed to deny the reports has he?

It is far more likely that Hizbula and Syria are preparing for attack, as soon as Iranian masters order them to do so. Same thing happened in 1967, when the puppetmaster of the time (Soviet Union) lied to the Arabs that Israel was planning to attack. The rest is history.
