Hamas sponsors mass wedding for 72 grooms injured while fighting Israel

Seventy-two Palestinian militants wounded while fighting Israel were recently awarded with brides and a mass wedding in the Gaza Strip.

Many of the grooms are amputees who were targeted for assassination by the Israel Defense Forces. Hamas sponsored the ceremony, which was made possible by the ceasefire between Israel and Gaza militants, which provides the coastal territory with temporary calm.

The women, for the most part, did not know their grooms.
