· MK Shaul Mofaz won the Kadima party leadership primaries, after a tight race against former party chairwoman Tzipi Lvini. Mofaz took 61.7 percent of the vote, and Livni took 37.23 percent.

· The Park Slope Food Co-op in Brooklyn voted against a proposed boycott of Israeli goods and produce, following months of deliberations, with 1,005 members voting against the boycott and 653 voting in favor.

· Turkish shampoo commercial featuring footage showing Adolf Hitler giving a speech was taken off the air on Wednesday, following protests by the local Jewish community.

· Employees at Tnuva continued to step up their sanctions over a pay dispute, having stopped supplying dairy products altogether to 400 supermarkets and stores in central and southern Israel two days ago.

· Dozens of international delegations comprising hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists began arriving in Lebanon ahead of massive demonstrations planned for Land Day, which commemorates the 1976 deaths of six Israeli Arabs protesting Israeli government land policies.

· A Bank of Israel report released Wednesday revealed that income inequality grew faster in Israel than in other developed countries. Over the last 20 years, the salary gaps between educated and uneducated workers grew while salary gaps between men and women narrowed, the report found.
