One of the most recognizable parts of the Passover seder is the song “Dayenu,” which means “It would have been enough for us.” It enumerates the many steps that led to the liberation of the Jewish people and their formation as a nation, saying after each step that it would have been enough. (Feel free to sing along: Day-day-enu, day-day-enu, day-day-enu, dayenu dayenu).
