Word of the Day Hatuna

The word used to describe matrimonial affairs actually stems from something more grizzly.

The Hebrew word for wedding, ha-tu-NA appears but once in the Bible: “Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold King Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.” (Song of Songs 3:11).
