On January 25, 1138, the anti-pope Anacletus II died. Although many heads of the Catholic Church have been rumored over the ages to be of Jewish descent, it is fairly certain that Anacletus, born Pietro Pierleoni (his date of birth is unknown), was the great-grandson of a converted Jew.

Is it not strange to consider the great grandson of a converted Jew still to be a "man of Jewish descent"? Just b elieve the story of Adam and Eve you could rightfully "claim" everyman to be of such descent. The founding myth of every nation or tribe results very often in troubled minds and pumped ego's.
thank you
