Risotto for the masses using the rice of kings
An Italian brand of super-rice has arrived in Israel, making it easier to prepare a delicious risotto.
Preparing proper risotto demands effort. Cooking the grains of rice takes around 40 minutes and requires continuous stirring while gradually adding stock until the rice has softened. Classic risotto must always be made shortly before it is served, and any attempt to prepare it in advance is doomed to failure because the rice hardens and turns into a thick mush.
