Every year around this time, we celebrate Jewish resistance of the Greeks and their culture, but we still can’t seem to resist their language.
Most holidays have their own rituals or traditional foods, but how many can say they have their own toy? Chanukah (spelled thus, or with an initial "h", double "n," double "k" or no "h" at the end – or any combination thereof) not only has its own candelabrum, doughnut and pancake – it has its own spinning top. Now that's a holiday!
