In their final exhibition, high-school seniors in the Israel Museum's study program show graves they dig themselves and a bazooka made of, well, Bazooka.
It's not easy to watch teens digging their own graves in the desert. The faces of the four actors in the video by Ma'ayan Berlin, a student at Jerusalem's Tehila high school for girls, are blank. In the still air, with the baking sun overhead, their hoes stubbornly scratch the rocky ground repeatedly. Their theatrical garb is unsuited to the desert. Perhaps they ended up here by mistake.
