Following a longstanding tradition of cute, inventive logos on special holidays and occasions, Google Israel is marking this election day with a special logo depicting each letter of the recognizable trademark inside a voting booth.
The second "G" bears a button with the word "elections" in Hebrew. The powerhouse search engine also provides a link to election coverage by the Hebrew language online media.
Web surfers who log into Google's home page are accustomed to creative logos and artwork that correspond to religious festivals, famous birthdays, and other quirky holidays.
On Marc Chagall's birthday, the logo was superimposed by a number the renowned painter's works of art. Google also celebrated "First Hot Air Balloon Day" by replacing the second "o" with a hot air balloon.
