WATCH: IDF officer head-butts Palestinian youth in the face in Hebron

End the settlements. Then Israel can start rebuilding it's international standing.

He isn't a police officer in a nice peaceful quite country, He is a soldier serving in a hostile land where the majority of people around him want him dead. He was clearly aggravating the the soldiers and not complying and resisting detainment. In war there is no such thing and unicorns and rainbows you need to be aggressive.

Violence breeds violence. This is "just" another daily event in the shadow of occupation where the IDF pretend to be in control and strong. In fact the indvidual soldiers much to often keep loosing control of themselves. How pathetic and disgraceful. Not just for the boys but to see grown up men and fully armed soldiers act in a way where they are clearly not able to restrain themselves. On the surface being in control but in real life actions as soldier loosing their human touch and dignity. Wonder if any of them have sleepless nights. Makes me sick

"Balagan" is the Russian derivation from the Persian word "bala khaan," meaning attic or balcony, the latter also derived from the same. Balconies or the upper rooms of a house in Persia were made of wood and often used as brothels, compare the word for "mess" in French, "quel bordel!" Then it moved to Turkic and Russian. In Russia at first it meant wood shed. Later, since such wood sheds were used for comic theatrical shows such as "comeddia dell' arte" they were called balagan and the word received the sense of disorganized, a meaning that was adopted in Hebrew by the settlers that came from Russia at the the end of 19th century. This word also moved to Slavic languages (Polish, Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Croatian) keeping the original formal meaning of shed but also as slang with the same meaning as in Hebrew - chaos, disorder.

The actions of that soldier head-butting the Palestinian youth is exactly the reason why Israel is losing the sympathy it once had around the world.I bet nothing will happen to this soldier for his illegal action.
