Dubai suspects Israel's Mossad agency to have been behind the murder of Mahmoud al-Mabhoh in a Dubai hotel in January 2010. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied a role in the killing.

The U.S. last year denied reports that it had received a request for assistance from Dubai, but a recently released WikiLeaks cable proves otherwise.
A cable sent from the embassy in Dubai less than a month after the assassination reveals that senior U.A.E. officials asked the American ambassador and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to probe urgently "cardholder details and related information for credit cards reportedly issued by a U.S. bank to several suspects" in the murder.
The WikiLeaks cable not only proved that the request was indeed made but that it was recorded in a secret State Department cable. By not accepting the request, the Obama administration harmed the Dubai investigation efforts and assisted Israel instead.
The credit card details uncovered by the Dubai police were linked to suspects using forged identity papers – none of their real identities has yet been revealed. The Dubai investigation has apparently gotten no closer to decoding the mystery of whether the Mossad was indeed behind the assassination.
According to Dubai authorities, the team that tracked and killed Mabhouh used fraudulent British, Irish, French, German and Australian passports to enter and depart from Dubai. More than half of the people identified as responsible for the killing share the names of foreign-born Israeli nationals.

I have no anger against Israel for what they, apparently, did in Dubai. Israel would of have had good reason to carry out the assassination. The US proves it is a worthy friend by sticking by the Jewish nation.
As to need TEN operative to catch the terrorist when it could,should have been a PIECE OF PIE for The competent Mossad. Whether the latest now from wikiLeaks is accurate makes me not only suspicious,but unbelievable.And if indeed it was true that the US declined to cooperate is worthy to acknowledge.

The CC could have been stolen or used by someone who was not the CC owner. Also the US knows who owns the CC and wanted to keep it secret.
I generally wonder why the media make such a hype around WikiLeaks. Can someone tell me what's so unexpected about these documents? other than they seem willing to release primarily the ones embarassing the US and its allies? On the other hand: is this really surprising?
Where are all the articles with such newsworthy headlines as "Clinton didn't lie about X", "the US did in fact do exactly what it said publicly" and "Internal documents show that German diplomats speak of their counterparts in the same way in private as they do in public". It must be radical anti-Americanism that makes the evil Wikileaks force world media only to print the juicy news...
And the drip,drip of many other cables will surface,no matter whois mentioned by them.Not the USA only. juisy news or not,personally I am pleased what wikiLeaks are doing.Putting all the DIRTY LAUNDRY of the various politician's shenanigans OUT in the open,letting IN THE FRESH AIR.
WikiLeaks only publishes what is submitted. More stuff is submitted relating to the US etc. than anywhere else.
murder is murder.. our government is about innocent until proven guilty.. this makes America look further worse. If you feel this is right then lets go after israel for all the senseless murders of all including women and children.

Propably in future crime cases many countries will not give information to US.
...if they ever cooperate with the USA in any future investigation. What do you expect? Israel is the spoiled baby daughter of the US! This leak should be noted by free thinking countries if they were asked again by the US to cooperate.

dubai needs to explain why a well known terrorist was allowed into its territory.

I feel quite certain that they knew about that Mabhouh and the rest.As for the US since it is fighting terror and need to eliminate it from their shores,or in Afghanistan as well in Iraq,Pakistan plus in all their other countries they have THEIR BASES. The US does not protect Israel solely ,for they also have their own terrorists in the country not to mention N.Korea Besides I still cannot come to terms that Mossad needed TEN people to deal with this one terrorist. Surely they are more professional than hitherto.

Do suicide bombings that target civilians constitute terrorism? Yes they do. Do rockets that directly (or through indifference with regard to the rockets' inaccuracy) target civilians constitute terrorism? Yes they do. Does Hamas send suicide-bombers and rockets against Israeli civilians? Yes it does. Therefore the logical conclusion is that Hamas is a terrorist-organization.

there is no proof whatever that asgari was kidnapped. there is no proof wahetever that asgari's disappearance has anything to do with israel.
