With citizens praising the man. Unconditional support , billions of US tax payer dollars and the loss of US credibility defending Israeli policy apparently isn't enough for the chosen ones. Just a matter of time before you go to your room spoiled, ungrateful child.

forget about mr. friedman's guess about the real intentions of preisdent obama's visit, and whether he is right or wrong. the president has the full chance to prove him either way. i guess mr. friedman is absolutely right. still i will wait and see. especially we waited and waited and still have time to wait. isn't that great to photo ops.

Make no mistake about it, Obama couldn't care less about the feelings of Israelis or their government. Like every President since 1980, his concern is with the feelings of AIPAC and the wealthy American Jews. It is not even about the majority of American Jews. It is about money. Money for Democrats, and , like every other President except Carter, with his future after leaving the Presidency. Obama is making nice because he knows that that was an important factor in Bill Clinton getting rich after he left the office. Obama learned his lesson by his doomed attempt to do the right thing. Carter genuinely cared and still cares about the welfare of Israel. But for the others, from Reagan to Clinton to Bush to Obama it is all about politics and money.So Obama will make nice and allow Netanyahu to continue to drive Israel down what everyone knows is a suicidal path of increased colonization. And everyone will be happy( in the short term).

Has Obama forgotten that we elect leaders to weild hammers, not feather dusters? The goal of stopping Israeli Settlement construction should have been done in the first 100 days of Obama's first term. That is, IF Obama was serious about peace, and he clearly is not. Instead Obama is just a poser who fooled us and betrayed us. He is a puppet of Israel and the GOP.

I don't accept this premise at all. I can't understand the logic. America is a super power, Israel is very small country in the ME with loads of problems. America doesn't need Israel. The truth be told Israel is a constant thorn in this President's side. He's probably taking this trip to show he's a bigger person that petty Bibi and also to calm down some his detractor's at home. I agree with Mr. Friedman, get over yourselves.
