At the end of his four years as commander, Major-General Ido Nechushtan has left the IAF prepared for the military option against Iran.
The Israel Air Force is like an upgraded version of the Israel Defense Forces, an institution where every screw is put back in its place and every meeting starts exactly on time. The hackneyed Hebrew phrase “a foreign, but friendly army” is befitting of the IAF, whose daily norms recall major Israeli companies such as Teva and Intel, or even the U.S. Air Force, far more than its green brother, the IDF.
