Poll: 64% of Americans would support U.S. strike to prevent Iran's nuclear program

Americans voted for Obama against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. We demanded our troops be brought home. The election is a more reliable indicator of American opinion. We do not support another war over Iran.

There should be some polls which show how many percentage of the world are against Israel's and US's war activities? Perhaps the whole world is waiting for this moment to bring an end. Well at least I'm sure 70 million Iranians are counting seconds to this start :) Then lets see who got the power. Iranians are use to emergency situations, war and sanctions...and so Israeli people?? ...

Americans should stop watching the crap Hollywood is throwing at them and definitely stop watching Fox News and CNN for fair and balance journalism--- If only Americans were truly versed in the situation in the middle east and in the World in general then their incompetent politicians will not have the freedom they have in putting a mess in this World. Polls do not mean much- facts on the ground are more important- and there is no hard proof that Iran is enriching Uranium to build atomic arsenal--- anyway no one in this World should have Atomic weapons- Just thinking that Bush had access to the codes was quite scary and Obama is unfortunately no better- and "if" Israel has the bomb then no wonder the Iranian feel not much safe of the idea...

Iran may talk about destroying Israel, but in reality it poses far more danger to Saudi Arabia and other Arab states.

The American public is uninformed. Their president is preaching non-proliferation. That means neither Iran nor Israel should possess nuclear weapons. So, both countries should be told to give up their plans (if they have plans) or their existing nuclear program.This whatbthe world is looking for.

I fully support a strike on Iran.. am I a hater... Or am I believeing strike now means a safer world later... Either or... Strike now ;-)

64% of American have not even been outside their city. They are the most uneducated people you can find on this planet. And they are fooled by AIPAC to believe that Iran is a danger to US or Israel. When in fact it is US and Israel that are and have been in war in the last 50 years.

If the American government believes this poll, why not take this to the American people and ask them to make a vote if they want America to attack Iran. This way the American government will do as their citizens want them to do and if America can not stop Iran from developing a nuclear bomb, the American public will not be able to blame their government because they followed their wishes via a vote. But we all know that this or any other poll favoring an attack on Iran is a pre-determined poll full of lies set up to help Israel and America attack Iran.
