Police have begun ordering Palestinian laborers with legal work permits off buses from the Tel Aviv area to the West Bank, following complaints from settlers that Palestinians pose a security risk by riding the same buses as them.

Police order Palestinian workers off buses to West Bank, at request of Israeli settlers
Settlers say these Palestinians pose a security risk; Transportation Ministry says it is considering adding bus lines between West Bank roadblocks and central Israel; these would be geared toward Palestinian laborers.

- By Rabbi Glazer
- 28 Nov 2012

What hath the government's policies wrought! Shame on the police for assenting to the settler's arrogance and racism! First it was separate roads for the settlers, then haredi buses demanding women sit in the back -- or take separate buses after all. Settlers destroy farmers' olive trees. Settlers lord it over Palestinians who have lived their for generations. Young Israeli soldiers poison their own souls lording it over poor people at checkpoints. Settlers demanding Palestinians, whose lands they have taken over, get off their buses. What's next? Settlers demanding Palestinians be deported altogether? Haredim demanding no women be seen in public at all? Israel crawls ever closer to the sexist, racist, apartheid state its harshest critics claim it is becoming. The poison is spreading....

Get ready for people to start blindly stating "security" when, in fact, Shabbak data would show that these things are unnecessary. Shabbak data even shows that there are thousands who come through the "wall/fence" and yet there is no increased security risk from it. We've been lied to enough - just stop listening to any excuse Israel makes. It's like the boy who cried wolf - you have to cut us off here. Don't listen to your manipulative leaders.

It's awful - if you read only this article. (Interestingly enough, this was not in the Hebrew print edition yesterday or today.) In the paper today however there is an article on how Palestinian terrorists in a neighboring village broke through a security fence and attacked a woman in her home. There are security threats, and they are life threatening. Take that into account.
