Common sense dictates ending occupatin. If you can get 20%, that's only 1/5 of the world community to agree with you, you can keep East Jerusalem. Watch the nations of the world vote tomorrow and you might smell the coffee.

conquer Jerusalem ? what century do you live in ? many palestinians originate from Jerusalem. Nusseibah for example, the Husseinis as well. Jerusalem is part the palestinian heritage and you speak of conquest ? Those who 'conquered' are israelis my friend. Those who raise a flag right in the middle of the old city once palestinian families are shamefully expelled, are israelis who decided they had every rights. You conquer. Palestinians don't. You violate laws. Palestinians don't. That's the difference.

The territories Israel illegally acquired by war by 1950 and has never legally annexed, including all of Jerusalem are still legally a part of Palestine. (about 33% of the territory Israel claims as it’s own). It is inadmissible to ‘acquire’ territory by war.Until Israel legally annexes the city by way of Palestinian referendum it remains legally a city in Palestine.

Nobody stole it!!

Israel got it in '67, and then asked Jordan and Egypt to take it back, but not even them wanted the "Palestinians". Today, it is a must that a two state is resolved, but obviously this will not end the conflict, it will only give more credit to terrorist organization (Hamas). If only the Palestinians really wanted a two state solution, they would have it. Start by changing the Motto, and also recognize Israel's right to exist, and a two state deal would be reached!! Oh, and end terrorist attacks on Israeli and Palestinians civilians!!!

The enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend

Iran brutally repressed a popular uprising recently. They fund Hezbollah which has committed terrorist acts in Argentina and Bulgaria among other countries. Don't let your anger with Israel blind you to the danger Iran poses to the international community. Just because they are Israel's enemy does not mean they are telling the truth about their nuclear program. Sometimes I get the sense that leftists angry with Israel want more than universal rights, sometimes they want Israel's destruction.
