Had they made peace in 1948 today Palestine would have been most developed state in the Middle East. What have they got from war? ZERO. Half a bread is better than non! What pails need to understand is this is a two way street for the ICC. In fact this last round of fighting started by hamas , for which Abbas is ultimately responsible would be found guilty of war crimes. Pitty he doesn't want to see both sides of the coin. But let him go to UN when he tries to go after ISraeli officials, then ISrael will have a go at Abbas, and may even enter Ramallah to arrest him

the 1947 partition of Palestine was itself the result of a multilateral (not a bilaterally negotiated) decision made by two-thirds of the 56 states which at the time composed the UN...moreover article 1 of its charter is about maintaining international peace and security, while article 2 is about the right of peoples to self-determination. Two cornerstones that have always been valid, in 1947 as well in 2011.

- By Smadar

The premeditated targeting of Israeli civilians for decades will definitely be entrusted as war crimes against the Jewish people and now with continued smuggling of weapons which Hamas and IJ stated it will ensue on behalf of the Palestinians continues these crimes against the Jewish state. It's not a one way international policy and Israel has never deliberately targeted civilians whereas the latter terror groups have mainly done so and never articulated the acceptance of the Jewish State as U.N. declaration 1947 proposed.
