"All nations which support freedom stand as a united front in the the war on terror," Netanyahu told Mubarak regarding Saturday's bombing which killed 21 people and wounded at least 97.
A car bomb exploded outside a church in the early hours of Saturday, targeting worshippers who gathered to mark the New Year in Egypt's northern city of Alexandria. Reports have relayed Egypt's suspicion that "foreign hands" were behind the attack.
Earlier Saturday, Mubarak, in a televised address, vowed to put a stop to terrorism, saying that the terrorists would fail in any plans to destabilize Egypt or divide Muslims and Christians.

if we wait for the goverment it will never happen
Israel makes itself ridiculous with its propaganda
Mubarak needs to look closer to home. Christians are marginalised in Egypt, they have difficulty getting permission to build churches and are not represented in government. His government needs to make changes to curb this sectarian violence
sad image, let alone supposed "terrorist" are too useful to Mubarak to seem genuine
No peace without a real peace with the arabs!
The mere fact of the killing of Christians in Irak, Egypt and other countries in Africa and in general in moslem countries reflects in the hatred of Islam in general towards any other religion, Jews, Christians, in all denominations and also catholics,Where is Mr Lincoln, Durson, the copenhague kid denonuncing this atrocities, NONE, I believe they are Christians and they are so blind in their perception of politics that do not see the hatred those same moslems have against them, or, maybe, they are moslems in disguise?. or may be they are paid by the rich arab oil countries to spread their ideology in every forum such as Haaretz and for free. I live far away from Israel and my perception of what is going on in Israel and countries around are dictated by a international non bias perception, no agendas, no political afiliation as you are in Israel where there are more political ;parties than citizens.
"Pretending" to be united against terror is funny considering both states are run by a "Dictator" and a "Racist Knesset".
It's my understanding that the Government of Israel has proposed recently (as I've been on vacation the last two weeks and haven't heard an iota of diplomatic progress), an interim agreement to the Palestinians and the PA has signaled a rejection as Jerusalem, settlements and refugees are to be dealt later. Why reject an interim agreement which would stipulate borders between the two states? What's the problem with handling the core issues of Jerusalem and the issue of refugees months later? Either both parties make some decisive diplomatic moves or lose the credibility from your majority populations which seek a fair peace agreement. It's of no benefit to any party to continue dodging the obvious diplomatic steps which are required towards resolving the Middle East dispute.
It was Netanyahu who began the deadlock by refusing Obamas request for a three month settlement freeze. No matter how much finger pointing Bibi does, he won't make Obama (or anyone else) forget that snub.
Indeed not especially when one considers the lavish bribe that was refused. On the other hand it was the best Xmas present the Palestinians could have hoped for.
The arabs had the freeze for 9 months and did NOTHING!! I know that is not important to you, but that is the objective reality.
It would be nice to hear Netanyahu's definition of terrorism so that we can see exactly how he forgives the killing of Arab civilians while, at the same time, condemns the killing of Jewish civilians. It is good to know how the minds of the leadership works. We know they are twisted, but we don't know how twisted.
The US military is not a terrorist organization. Try being logical at least.
Recent admissions by Hamas and wikileaks memos regarding the 2006 Lebanon war have revealed that the number of civilians claimed to have been killed was wildly overstated
then their apologists write to Haaretz complaining about the predictable consequences.
Israel responds to attacks, while terrorist initiate attacks. Just because people die in a response attack doesn't make those responding terrorists. Dear Natallie, instead of yapping away every day on Haaretz about how evil Israel is, as if someone were paying you to do it like it's your only attainable full time job, why don't you try and educate people on "WHY" Israel does what it does? Please enlighten us with what your assumptions are about why Israel aims guns and tanks at anyone in the first place? Because they're bored right? Because it's just fun right? Please enlighten us with what would happen if Israel's enemies had the same weaponry? Would there even be 60+ years of a struggle? Would the Arabs let it drag out that long? Please, start backing up your criticisms with motives, let's see if you can...
then there is Algeria Chad,Hama etc etc etc---
