The day the IDF killed those very violent "peace activists" from the "religion of peace" that went seeking "maryrdom", the Turkish army probably killed 90 Kurds that, unlike the Arabs (22 countries, 1 in Palestine, Jordan) have no country of their own.

55 30 0Apology & Forgiveness
- By Dr. Daivs P. Tharayil, Ph.D.
- 23 Mar 2013
- 00:52AM
These are very powerful words which can change the face of the earth. In between apology and forgiveness there is something that acts as glue to connect these words. That is justice. Israel Prime Minister's apology is a courageous act of humility and a reflection of how much Israel values the friendship of Turkey. Turkish Prime Minister's response is a great sign good will to amend broken relationships between two countries. These two words can be used by several people in the families and neighborhood and by the leaders of nations who keep enmity towards other nations. World becomes a better place to give if people apply these words often, of course by meeting justice.

and also think that Tukey fully understands that the apology is not heartfelt. What is clear is that it is in the interest of both countries to get on with life and make the lives of their citizens better, more secure and more prosperous. It is a good thing for countries to put those values above emotionalism and tribalism. Lest anyone accuse Israel of lack of integrity, let not forget that Turkey dropped all charges that it claimed were legitimate. Countries and peoples are no better than one another.

This article has no key symbol, meaning it is open, but in fact it is not. Other articles sometimes have key symbols but are unlocked. Please note that jpost has unocked virtually all of its articles (at least for the N American market). The paywall paradigm works for sites like the NYT but it is a failure for sites like Haaretz. Maybe someone from Jpost convinced Haaretz to build an aggressive paywall because they knew how beneficial it would be, for Jpost. But why would any conservatives (Jpost or other) want to limit readership of Haaretz?
