The cyberwar between pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian hacking groups continued Wednesday, as Israeli hackers unveiled details of approximately 4,800 credit cards from various accounts held in Saudi Arabia.

The hacker group, which goes by the name Nuclear, was able to reveal many more details than in the past, including card number, password, security code, code type, and expiration date. The hackers claim they were able to access the information after hacking into the database of one of Saudi Arabia's largest banks.

In response, pro-Palestinian hackers tampered with several India-based websites as a protest against the Israeli occupation.

The latest round come one day after Israeli hackers brought down the websites of both the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).The hackers were able to paralyze the Tadawul website, while causing significant delays to the ADX exchange site.

The Saudi authorities, in a statement issued Wednesday, denied the claims, stating that sophisticated security protection was being enforced.

This type of activity should be condemned by all governments. The Saudis need to start since they were the first alleged source of the breach.

Israelis are challenging the world to a hacker competition? That's what occurs when hackers crow over how great they are and how successful they are, even if it is not true. It is a sad fact of life that Israelis constantly overestimate their abilities and their importance while underestimating the abilities of their opponents. This led to the embarrassments of the 2006 war and the Dubai fiasco and has a very great potential to be even more embarrassing in the future.
