Israeli ex-soldier: I support Palestinian armed resistance and understand terror

How in god's name does someone like that even end up in the IDF? Let hime go and live with the Pals for a few years.....he may even take up arms against Israel in terror activities and get a bullet between the eyes.

He is right....Resistance to an occupying force is allowed under U.N Charer.

Many American Jews see land theft, occupation, and racism as anti-Jewish values. In fact, Jewish Americans have always been among our MOST pro-minority rights citizens.

The Palestinians have every right to resis the occupaiton. Were Jews in the same position as the Palestinians they would not just sit back and take it as the Israelis want the Palestinians to do. Jews used terror when Palestine was under British rule. Why deny the same right to Palestinians?

Andrey Pshenichnikov is a brave man. It takes courage to take this stand and keep to one's concience. The basic problem of the occupation has to be dealt with. Until then there will not be peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Israelis must acknoledge the rtrauma that the Palestinians went through during the War of Independence and respect the Palestinian people and return to them what Israel took then and after. The Palestinians have.also to understand the trauma of Holocost and 2000 years of exile. Both people have to understand each other, respect each other, aloow each other to live free - then Peace has a chance. As long as the extrmists rule, there will be no peace, and hard future for both peoples. .

let me guess, by now, you are considered a jew-hater, an anti-semite, a terrorist...I simply say thank you for speaking some sense and even more for acting on it. The Israeli psyche is sick and many in our western world are responsibe. For people who suffered across ages and were refugees and exiled around the world, Israel's behavior is incomprehensible. Nothing can justify what Israel does for Palestinians, the bullying of countries, the treatment of african immigrants...the jew exception is a cancer and must cease.

This guy is either very brave or very foolish. Israel does not tolerate this sort of talk, especially from Israeli Jews.

No wonder, this soldier is part of the former Soviet Union alyah, which has been one of the most problematic groups to cause problems to this country. It is frightening how much we hear from those 'new citizens', who deserve only deportation as soon as possibly.
