let's hope they get the maximum sentence. This was an act of not only stupidity but downright cruelty! I think they come of light while serving 3 years...

Concerning sentence, I have reservations. They are not related to Israeli-Palestinian conflict. There is an hubris attitude in most modern legal systems that for every misfortune there is a guilty party. If those two policemen were not given specific orders to bring this man home, they did a routine operation, and as such did not enter Palestinian village for not steering more violence. One can ask maybe the doctors are to blame? I say no. Even in everyday life, "normal citizen" get released from hospital and sometimes they pass away later at home. Medicine is not en exact science. The Western Hubris of requesting a verdict for every misfortune brings America to its knees by the economic medical price. The most blatant issue is the earth quake which will come for sure. Certainly there will be deaths, no matter how much money is poured in. Should already make is a law that Ministers are guilty for this future misfortune? Again, what happened is a tragedy. But I think it is the consequence of an imperfect system, a system in which also Israelis live (and in fact such are all governments in the word - imperfect), rather than letting all the blame fall on the two policemen. You want policemen to do something, tell them precisely and in writing.
