Why was it necessary to don masks before boarding the ship? So the members can't be identified when this incident goes to the IOC?

Jail these international anti-Semitic provocateurs, make them uncomfortable in jail (invite relatives of victims of Hamas rockets bombardments to play with them), sue them for violation of war zone order, seize the vessel and sell it for benefit of Hamas' victims and all these garbage will stop.

The intention is to provoke Israel to intervene and it works all the time. But it is a dilemma for Israel to stop ‘em or let ‘em go. At the both cases Israel loses prestige and self-confidence.

The IDF has confirmed that there was no humanitarian aid whatsoever on the Estelle, the boat which sought to break Israel’s naval blockade on Gaza.

Send the ship up north to Syria where they can deal with the very Nice people of the Syrian military,or Hizbollah but they are to much Cowardly,its so easy to have a conflict with Israel.

Why would the IDF seize any vessel attempting to visit Gaza? I mean how many times have we read that Israel "unilaterally left Gaza" and so they're no longer 'occupied'....anyone else remember reading those words? If they live in a cage its their own doing ...Israel has nothing to do with it...right?

I understand some pirates have seized a boat in international waters. Period.

Where are the humanitarian activists rushing to Syria?....oh, I forgot, there are no Jews or Israelis to protest against. So no point doing that!

I believe Israel should invite these peace-loving activists to camp and explore the land of Israel outside of Gaza,then send a message to Hamas and ask them to please not fire any rockets in their area because they are guests of Israel.

It was on Israel's territorial waters. All the people blaming Israel need to ask themselves if Ahmadinejad or Assad would allow similar aid to their countries from USA without any permits or proper agreements.

Im from Finland and Its embarrasing that our flag is put to shame with these pro-Hamas people. Our government should have intervened earlier and forbid the use of finnish flag in this ship. I Estelle is hot topic in Finland now and people are very divided on this issue.

Good for you Israel!!!! Most of the world understands the people on board the Estelle are playing at humanitarian trash and jumping for headlines and Israel is in a fight for their very lives. Anything Israel deems necessary to insure their livelihood is good with us!

Haaretz writes: "IDF Navy forces boarded the Scandinavian Gaza-bound Estelle ship attempting to breach Israel's blockade on the Strip. Control over the ship was seized in Israeli territorial waters, as the IDF maintained its forces acted in accordance with the international law." Estelle was attacked in waters southwest of Gaza. That could not be Israeli waters, and accordingly it is against international law.

N31 26 E33 45 is where the Estelle communications were blocked after the last message saying they are under attack. That is North of Sinai and West of Gaza, clearly far out of any "Israeli territorial waters".

Israel always does stupid things and gets negative PR. Sell the damn ship and give the proceeds to the families of PLO suicide victims...or build a new Sbarro Pizza shop...or give Schalit a scholarship..., or donate to a rehab center for injured Israeli soldiers....the list is endless. Have a national contest of what to build, how to convert the Eurotrash hate money into something meaningful. Stop playing kissy face with the UN or EU diplomats that hate you.
