Israel approves Qatar emir's visit to West Bank, in nod to Abbas

Israel approved the visit under assumption that the emir will offer financial aid to the struggling Palestinian Authority, and give Palestinian Authority diplomatic strengthening over Hamas rival.

Israel has no right to decide who can or can not visit Gaza or the West Bank. These lands do not belong to Israel and the Palestinians are the ones who can decide whom to let in or not.

  Israel Govt. has nothing to do of a visit by a head of state of a country visiting another head of state.of another country. Fact is that Observer State of Palestine has been recognized by a GREAT Majority of Members of the UN - 7 of course.. -

For at least a decade I have read about Arab pledges of money yet the only monies arriving have been from the EU. Maybe the Emir wants to see where the money is going before he releases it.

  Haven't you notice that things are greately changing in the Middle East, PITY that you and Netanyahu do not seems to see the light at the end of this TUNNEL. Soon, if we are NOT careful WE WILL have a BINATIONAL STATE where Jews WILL be in a MINORITY .

If Israel was really interested in wanting the Palestinians to support Abbas rather then Hamas they would show that he is a leader with whom they want to do business. Instead they never miss an opportunity to throw him under a bus and show that a viable 2-state resolution is a non-starter.
