Israel admits it revoked residency rights of a quarter million Palestinians

Muslim countries don't even give the same respect to people of other beliefs,why should we care then.They demand respect,but give none.Atheists will rise and wipe them out anyway in the future,the whole world is against Islam.

It invalidates the world reaching out to them and their place in Palestine today. How can they justify being allowed to stay in Palestine and do this to the Palestinian people? People won't stand with them anymore. And indeed, i foresee them being abandoned and homeless in the future as a result... Dutch

and if the revoke was allowed when the territories were occupied why now when Gaza and West Bank are "free" the people can't return ?

Again, the behavior of the Israelis towards the Palestinians is nothing short of criminal and disgusting.

And why not when you look at those who create trouble

In 1947-48 Israel drove 800,000 palestinians out of their homes and out of the country and took over their land. Since they have refused the return of 250,000 Palestinians who left the country to go seek work to support their families, or who left to go get an education. What a criminal country thou art Israel!

Palestinians have no right to work, own property or citizenship in these countries. In Jordan, citizenship was revoked without warning from hundreds of thousands of people over the course of five years. It's funny how no noise was made when this happened.

What would it look like if the shoe were on the other foot? The Arabs who butcher each other in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Iraq, etc. would not be so delicate as the Israelis were by simply revoking the residency rights of Jews. They would have slaughter every Jewish man, woman and child.

True. The only democracy (of its kind) not only in the middle east but in the entire world.

I left my id at the Alinby bridge ,3 yrs later ,my brother renewed my green permit for another 3 yrs.After those 6 yrs my family didn't have the funds for me to return to renew it myself and so I lost my residency like many others.Sad indeed.I was the only one of my family who was left outside the west bank.Nowadays I go back as a tourist to the place where I was born and a man from Brooklen instantly becomes a citizen who never set a foot there.

Can't be correct considering how much palestinians there are outside of the territories. If say half the palestinians fled, shouldn't there be more or at least equal number of palestinians in the territories compared to the diaspora. Now the diaspora as it has been estimated is bigger which is a bit strange considering that those in diaspora normally do not get as much children as those still living in territories.

Israel had and has no right to strip tens of thousands of Palestinians of their residency rights. This situation should definitely be brought before Israel's High Court of Justice and the U.N. Human Rights group.

"Palestine" is the only place on Earth where any kind of "right" in an Arabs favor transcends himself. It must also apply to any descendent infinitely far into the future. UNRWA: are you listening?

And they say OUT LOUD this is a DEMOCRACY???? Really??? I swear I have to go back to school and learn about Democracy all over again. Eugh!

What about the Muslim states oppressing and stripping citizenship from hundreds of thousands of Jews. Why can't Jews have residency in places like Egypt or Syria or Jordan or Lebanon... just to name a few. When the rights of Jews are recognized throughout Muslim countries then we can discuss the Palestinians, which by the way have a homeland in Jordan and should be free to return there.
