Stut’s arrest makes him the first released prisoner to be recaptured since the prisoner swap.
According to an IDF spokesperson, Stut was arrested for being a security threat in the area of Dura near Hebron by the Golani Brigade.

Stut was originally arrested in 2002 and indicted on attempted murder, membership in an unidentified organization, assembling bombs and providing asylum. An Israeli court sentenced him to 38 years in prison. He was slated to be released in 2040.
Israeli security forces were pleased with the fact that until now none of the Palestinian prisoners freed in the Shalit deal returned to terrorism. A top IDF commander in the West Bank told Haaretz that the prisoners’ have returned to civic activity alone, and that the IDF has not noticed any terror-related activity.
The second phase of the Shalit prisoner exchange deal came in December 2011, when 550 additional Palestinian prisoners were released. According to an agreement signed by Israel and Hamas, Israel was given the ability to decide on the prisoners released in the second round, as opposed to the first round where Hamas was granted the ability to release 477 prisoners of its choosing.

i pity the palestinian children who are taught to worship these hate-filled baby murderers
I am glad they got this terrorist off the streets. It's only about time till the remaining Arab terrorist return to terror.
Someone will knock on your door in Ef-rat in the not too distant future--I am just sorry I will not be there to see the action.
What kind of excuse is that to even arrest someone!!! What a joke and lie
You simply cannot negotiate with Israel. You have to keep your thumb on it all the times. Israel understands only the language of war. Give it war, destruction and misery because that's what she knows. Her people are used to that sort of life throughout history unfortunately. I predict more abductions, more armed resistance and more death on both sides.
Israel should arrest all the Palestinian children before they turn into security liabilities. It is only a natural evolution to Israels absurdity.
When the Fogel family killers were arrested you said they were being coerced. When they confessed you said they were tortured to say they were guilty. They had a fair trial and did not recant their admission of guilt and even smirked during the proceedings. This guy has done something wrong and against his promise to be peaceful . The IDF arrested him and will give more details as available.
Arrested because he is a Palestinian doing what many Jewish Settlers do every day.
Perhaps he was using a public toilet? And that gets him arrested! You could arrest anyone with that "crime".
They say they want to make peace but if they can not accept the fact that most arabs are in fact not terrorists
Good that he's captured before blowing himself up killing dozens :)
Or the PA which glorified the Fogel massacre.
God, no wonder the world is going under. We're filled to the brim with ignorance.
the second time, the circumstances of his arrest the first time are pretty muddled. Was he tried in a secret military court? There is no mention of evidence in either the prior of current case. One of the charges was being a member of an "un-named" organization. Is it a secret as to which organizations are illegal? What is "being a threat" to Israeli security? Disagreeing with the occupation? Saying you do? Trying to convince others? All in all, a pretty dodgy system.
The article fails to say where he was arrested? When will the UN put a stop to this criminal activity. Even though the US owns most of Canada, their law enforcement officers would not be allowed to enter and arrest our citizens. There is no democracy in Israel.
there is only one justice to terrorists murderers. Death penalty
During a sermon preceding the 2001 Passover holiday, the influential Israeli Rabbi Ovadia Yosef exclaimed: "May the Holy Name visit retribution on the Arab heads, and cause their seed to be lost, and annihilate them." He added: "It is forbidden to have pity on them. We must give them missiles with relish, annihilate them. Evil ones, damnable ones." Source: Ha'aretz April 12, 2001
That description could cover just about any activity...
member of an unidentified organization.. next will be thought arrest
I thought you could only be arrested for things you did, not things you are.
I was just thinking the same thing about Palestinian terrorist organizations.
It seems as though the palis just cant help themselves when it comes to terror Once a terrorist always a terrorist. The guy was given a chance and for whatever reason... he blew it back to the slam for him no more chances. Too bad so sad He had a chance to change chose not to.
View all Arabs as hostile and a threat to the security of the opressive state. It is natural...
You mean kinda like the USA holding mexican lands and things like that The USA in every other countries custom service sticking their nose in other countries problems you meanh that Joe>?
"Israeli security forces were pleased with the fact that until now none of the Palestinian prisoners freed in the Shalit deal returned to terrorism. " And why do you think that is? is it because Israeli jails have found a cure for recidivism - in which case, please share it and all the world's criminals will disappear. Or is it that 99% of the people rounded up and imprisoned were innocent anyway and would be no more likely to engage in 'terrorism' when they were released than they were before being locked up?
If Moses was here, he would have been arrested too.
he was released. If he did something against the "agreement"and the IDF became aware of it then he was taken in for questioning and will be thrown in jail again if needs be.
The palis who decide to get back into business deserve what they get. They were told to stay clean or go back to jail Most did but teh tough guys think they can out tough teh IDfr. well they got him All part of teh deal reader. Why dont you read what teh deal was about beofre talking trash. Israel kept its part of teh baragain teh pali did not
Israel is not country of honour and justice and peacefull means cause only more oppresion from Israeli side
"Being a ... threat" Only in israel do you not need to commit crimes to be arrested. (not that he was in israel)
The Palestinians are not going anywhere. They will be Israel's neighbors as long as Israel continues to exist. You can count on more IDF men being captured. We will have the new and improved Shalit 2.0 coming to a media outlet near you.
You have been advised
I wonder what he would say about his government?
for Hamas and the Palestinians sake as well as for the prisoner. Don't need bad publicity like that.
