you cant occupy a people, oppress them , take their property and then claim you are defending yourself when they slap you for it.

It is a business. The war industry represents about 15% of Israel's GDP. If they do not make a profit out of it, they would not engage into a war. What are the revenues from building and testing Iron Dome?

Stop the war, Israel, you are the aggressor. You have occupied Palestine, you are controlling Gaza. It is quite understandable that the Palestinian people resist these aggressive acts. Get out of Palestine, respect the borders of 1948! The policy of the Israeli government is wrong, you don't at all respect international treaties. Don't ask for sympathy any longer.

American-Israeli-Jew here and I fully endorse the I.D.F. action and support a ground invasion if necessary, I only wish I wasn't so old and so fat so that I could join in and do my part for the defense of the State of Israel.

I tiny little thing Haaretz "forgets" to mention.

Most Israelis support occupation, colonisation and apartheid so they must support attacks on the Palestinians.

All of my friends in Cairo support Israel actions vs Gaza, their only concern / reserve is to the clown Morsi opening the borders for them GO IDF GO

The war on Gaza is only for political gains.

Israel has become a nation of war mongers whose majority wants to constantly be in conflict with some neighbor or the other. Shame.

So basically, 90% support bombing because the United States pays for it anyhow. A ground assault would actually mean the war would require a little sacrifice on Israel's part... In that scenario, the war is not really worth fighting?
