The organizers should have asked anyone that had a problem taking part alongside an Israeli author to stay at home. The conference should have gone ahead, with Ms. Orner alone if need be. If Mr Caverni was true to his own stance of not holding a conference with those who exclude dialogue, he should have done exactly that, exclude those who exclude dialogue.
