  But then, hardly the first and Israel can get away with it. The only nation in the world that is not held accountable. Economic sanctions should be the EU response rather than these flaccid peeps of protest. Punish Israel severely.

The EU do not need to be "......searching for new ways to express its opposition to Israeli policy in Area C of the West Bank, regions under Israeli security and civil control". The response should be boycott Israeli goods and services within Europe.
