It seems the EU would have enough to keep them busy in their own backyard. Why is it that every tom, dick, and harry always find the time to critique Israel?

East Jerusalem is occupied territory...not Sovereign Israel. Israel has no right whatsoever legally to build there. Israel stated its borders as defined by Resolution 181 ON GAINING STATEHOOD. Bible stories have no bearing on what is Israel. You cannot impose your religious beliefs on another...that is human rights law and International Law.

Santions against Israel are needed since Israel doesnt understand diplomacy.

How many times have we heard " deeply regrets"from EU and American officials about Israel's actions in the occupied territories. Really these statements have become meaningless unless followed up by concrete action.

Israel is only in the UN for the precious US veto vote in the UNSC.

Mrs. Ashton makes a statement which creates more trouble to Jews and Palestinians rather than brings a Peace. Jews have all legal rights to build own houses in every part of their land, Israel. Palestinian Leaders must strongly decide to live with Jews peacefully or not. They must accept the reality as it is. Jews never will give up own land to Mrs. Ashton to anybody. I hope that Mrs. Ashton will read my notes and she make right conclusion and accept the reality - Jews now have own State which will defend their right to exist. My best to Mrs.Ashton

Catherine Ashton has a lot of nerve advising Israel on what to do. She has demonstrated such a lack of understanding and recommended too much foolishness. for her advice to be considered worthwhile.She does not understand that,as they have said many times, the Palestinian Arabs will never agree to living peacefully side by side with the Jewish state of Israel..

Only one big and real war will solved once for ever problems in bloody Middle east,where one small empire of evil and death causing all the problems and that small evil empire supported by biggest evil is Israel !

The EU, and Obama need to mind their own business. The land belongs to Israel. Plain and simple. Jerusalem is the rightful capitol of Israel. The World needs to stay out of the situation, it's not their call. Certainly not Hussein Obama's call. His ignorance, and abuse of Israel is inexcusable. I want Israelies to know, he does NOT speak for all Americans. Many of us don't even acknowledge that he is legally our President.

In fact, one of them, chapter 17 Sura 104 says, we say onto the children of Israel, dwell in this land, live in this land, referring to the land that is now Israel. So do you dispute these facts or do you accept that there is some connection between the children of Israel and this land?
