If egypt was seriously looking to end the crisis in gaza then they would have run hamas out of business longtime ago. Why is egypt still allowing weapons to be smuggled into gaza when they have the means to stop all this nonsense. These egyptians have both palestinian and Israeli blood on their hands.

If Gaza doesn't like their "country" bombed...then stop bombing Israel. Doesn't feel good does it Hamas? Killing is not a good thing regardless of who is being killed, but I feel that Israel is in their full right to carry out surgical strikes on every missle battery in Gaza. I would have done the same.

It is only with the harsh and punishing retaliation to Hamas by the IAF and IDF they will realize the issue is not about killing Jews but negotiating for a Palestinan state. It is a sad reality but devastating Gaza may be only fact Hamas under-stands as a precondition to real peace.

I hope this current operation of Israels is a precursor to their attack on Iranian nuclear sites. It would make sense that Israel would secure Gaza as much as possible before delivering a blow to Iran, thus limiting the ability of the Iranian backed Hamas to be an effective agent of destruction on Israel in retaliation for said attacks.

I appreciate the efforts being made by the Egypt government in order to defuse the tension and stop the on going hostile air raids by Israeli Air force. If this is not stopped by right now it is going engulf whole the Middle East Region and result in a big clash between Israel and Arab World.

Stop killing please. Jews lived in India for 5000 years and no problem to report. They were happy with Hindu or Muslim or Buddhist or Jain kingdoms. No problem. Now in Middle east Jew and Muslims are fighting. There is a mental de-humaization going on here.

It is quite unbelievable that the Tunisia leader should criticise Israel for defending herself against Islamic terrorism yet failed to condem hamas for starting the latest round of hostility. At little more reality in the Arab world would go a long way to resolve the conflict that has run for so long

I hope the Egyptian people and their government will assist their neighbors in Gaza to arrive at a decision to never again fire another weapon of war at their neighbors. In the last, Jordan has also been hit. No missile ever shall induce a peaceful solution. No mortar round hit either. No hidden explosive will make anyone give up their political aim. Egypt is a great nation. It carries clout. She can be of positive influence to all the parties here if she so wishes. She could take a stance of true neutrality such as the Swiss Red Cross. It's not good to take sides in a conflict in which one tries to successfully mediate, more especially in this particular instance where aggression comes in many forms from all the parties here involved, including Egypt. Tahk you Egypt for trying your best. It shows us all the marvelous ability and insightful forethought of your chosen leadership.

All of the Arabic-speaking nations put together couldn't touch Israel. Israel is a first world power with international backing. Their military is top-notch and highly trained. It's almost murder for them to act too zealously in their own self-defense. It's like a ham-fisted, six-foot-tall bruiser knocking down a 90-pound weakling. The problem is that the weakling in question is armed with a butter knife, is mentally unbalanced, and he might actually cause some damage if not dealt with. Nevertheless, the Arabs need to face reality, and try to figure out how they can get Hamas to Calm Down.
