Border Police shot dead a Palestinian youth near the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron on Wednesday. The initial investigation shows the Palestinian attacked the policeman who was in a guard post, knocked him to the ground and pulled out a pistol. A policewoman on the scene shot the man, killing him. Only then was it discovered that the gun was a fake. The dead man was a teenager, Muhamad Ziad Awad Salima.
