Deputy ambassador to the United States Baruch Bina was on Wednesday appointed Israel's man in Denmark, in a move that is expected to end the strained relations in Washington between the Israeli ambassador, Michael Oren, and Bina.

What are we to make of this scholar with apparently a fine reputation who has turned into a hack propagandist bent on dragging America into war. This is especially troubling because Oren is basically an American who has switched allegiance. What would Israelis think if someone who was born in Israel, went to school and pledged allegiance every day, got his university education there, then decided he preferred to serve in the army of another country, and then returned as that country's ambassador and used his knowledge of Israel to manipulate its politics to the advantage of that country? II do not think it would go over well.
thank you
