Most Americans, regardless of political sympathies, believe the United States should cease its intervention in the Israeli-Palestinian talks, an ABC poll released on Monday reveals.

25 0 0ABC Poll... so what
- By Chris Barghout
- 19 Mar 2013
- 05:49AM
75% of Americans can not find Israel on a map of the middle east. Cnn and National Geographic both done polls with same results. Yet over 60% are more sympathetic to something they have little knowledge of. What is scariest is how much Americans spend on arms and how willing they are to go to war with so little information.

Obama's reelection (based on his statements that Israel must stop Settlement construction) indicate that the ABC poll is complete bullshit. On the other hand, Obama's *acts* once elected have been overwhelmingly biased in favor of Israel, particularly at the UN and UNSC. It's a shame the man can't seem to correlate his mouth and his hand that issues those vetoes at the UN. We voted for Obama's words. He should remember that. In office, Obama has generally shown his words to be lies.

Look at the savings! How many billions of dollars have gone to Israel since the signature of the Camp David Accord? All that money could have been put to good use supporting our own children, medical needs, infrastructure, education, and our own senior citizens. Since the Camp David Accord Israel has abused in many ways the friendship extended by the people of US. It is because of the support we give to Israel that the International Community has ostracized/excluded us. We have lost our influence in the world, have been attacked and ignored. Great friends we have in Israel!

Unless this poll was taken in Synagogues and Christian Conservatives churches, this poll is grossly skewed. Most of the minorities and Catholics, and liberals in the States support the Palestinians. But this poll is directed at President Obama to warn him against pressuring Israel to end settlements and compromise for the sake of peace. The result is more of the same; no action and the status quo prevails. So much of free press in the US.

18 0 0Bipartisan support in Congress to Israel ...
- By milan milenkovic

- 05:33PM
Bipartisan support in Congress to Israel , already show traditional unbreakable bonds between this two countries, as a friends and Alleys. Obama’s Adm. did more for State of Israel then any other USA Adm. before: over $ 3 billion PER year, including $ 250 million for Iron Dome missile system and “Obama restored Israel’s Qualitative Military Edge ( QME) with advance weaponry”… Two State solution with Palestine is reality: everybody agree that status quo is unacceptable, most people on both side want peace… To me, Israel-Palestine issue is Arab- Israel issue, too: Jerusalem should be “ open” town under UN with TRIPLE security ( J/P/UN); but, TRIPLE security must be on West Bank border toward Jordan, in Gaza toward Egypt and on Golan Heights toward Syria (J/S/UN), too. I believe that the most important for Israel is to get full international recognition of there borders and that Jewish people live in PERMANENT peace, security and prosperity.

I suppose the real question is what do most Israelis think? In my opinion, I feel America should support Israel without sticking our noses into their business. Israel needs to know that they have our support, but not to use this support as leverage in any negotiations. If this sounds like a cop-out, that's because it is. But for too long it seems the US has been trying to dictate policy to the world. Not wishing for isolationism, but it's about time we stayed on the sidelines for a change.

When it comes to seeking diplomatic support, aid and weapons, Israel very much wants the US sticking its nose into their business. What the US should do is make this ongoing support conditional on Israel ending the occupation. They don't have to be at the negotiating table but they do have sufficient leverage to ensure that Israel gets there.

and understand the true history and what a democracy Israel is and how much she helps the world and the USA, when they really look at it and the cult of hate adopted by the Palestinian Arab leadership it becomes so so clear that support for Israel is support for truth and everything good in this world. israel just developed technology to help the blind in addition to all its other inventions to help this planet. In the fight between good and evil, the Pal/Israel conflict is set up to test humanity to see truth. Israel and the hate thrown at her illuminates for all thinking good human beings what evil looks like and how Israel is there to save the planet for the same forces that want to destroy her wish to destroy all of free spirit humanity. Thank you Israel. We Americans are more and more aware of your destiny and sacrifice for all of the planet. The US should stay out of the talks because the Pal Arab leadership will have to make a choice between theatrics or truth. Either they will give up their hatred and lead their people to peace or just say no. Either way it is better than what Obama and the US govt has provided since Oslo

"Support of truth and everything that is good in this world?" Are you kidding me? How is it that Israel has committed wanton terrorism, and actively encourages treason here in the States? How is it that they are dangerously close to becoming an apartheid State, and have brazenly violated every single peace accord they've signed, as well as the Geneva Conventions, in particular the Fourth Geneva Convention? And considering the cons VASTLY outweigh the pros of our relationship, we should tell Israel to fuck off. They aren't even one-one billionth as innocent as they and their treasonous apologists here in the States claim. It's also time to start arresting, trying, and executing those who place the interests of the world's most bellicose, intransigent, and lawbreaking nation ahead of those of the United States of America. Say no to treason. Say no to AIPAC. Say no to Israel.
