Abbas: Itamar attack was despicable, immoral and inhuman
Palestinian president condemns the murder of five family members in the West Bank settlement, says human beings aren't capable of such an act.
By Haaretz Service Tags: Israel news Palestinians Israel settlements Mahmoud AbbasPalestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday condemned the murder of five members of a single family in the West Bank settlement of Itamar over the weekend, telling Israel Radio that it was a despicable, immoral, and inhuman act.
"A human being is not capable of something like that," Abbas said in an interview with Israel Radio on Monday. "Scenes like these - the murder of infants and children and a woman slaughtered - cause any person endowed with humanity to hurt and to cry."
Abbas added that the Palestinian Authority would have prevented the attack, in which five members of the Fogel family were stabbed to death by two Palestinian terrorists in the West Bank settlement of Itamar, if it would have had prior information about it. He noted that he agreed with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to launch a joint investigation into the matter.
He said that he does not expect a wave of terror attacks in the immediate future and stressed that he will not allow it.

He also rejected Netanyahu's previous comments that the PA incites against Israel in its mosques, and called to set up an Israeli-Palestinian-American committee to examine Netanyahu's allegations that there is incitement in Palestinian textbooks in schools.
Following the attack, Netanyahu had repeatedly called on the Palestinians to explicitly condemn the murder in Itamar, expressing dissatisfaction at the PA's immediate statements condemning violence.
On Sunday, Israel responded to the terror attack by approving 400 housing units in the West Bank settlements, a move which brought harsh criticism from both the Palestinians and the United States.

"A human being is not capable of doing something like that," I agree, with Abbas, Whoever committed this crime must be mentally sick.
Abbas is about to pull an Idi Amin and retire to Saudi with the billions he stole from the Palestinian people
The response to this attrocity is to use it as an excuse to snction more settlement buldling. Wouldn't the end to settlements, a return to the 1967 borders and a lasting peace be a much more fitting tribute to the victims than further entrenching the problem?
this two tongued animal was reading from a USA- Obama prepared script- This duplicitious behavior is typical of a rabid Jew hater who spends 90 of his life demeaning and encouraging the denigration of Jews and Israel and the other 10% of the time for media's consumption, sounding like Mother Theresa. This is your modern day Haman who will some day meet the same fate as his predecessors. He is an outright liar and there are tomes of clips, articles, videos to prove his involvement in incitement against Jewry and Israel. This manicured despot will never make peace in his lifetime- he hates Jews enough to let his people suffer continuously!
Especially when the MURDER was perpetrated by one of your thugs who's boss you are.
You know ---what you insist on when a Jew is accused. Double standards ---eh Kathleen.
http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=18512 "...the mastermind of the Munich attack, Mohammed Daoud Oudeh, or Abu Daoud, claims Abu Mazen provided the funds to carry out the Black September attack. Member of Black September in 1972 Munich Olympics attack Daoud made that charge in his 1999 French language memoir, "Palestine: From Jerusalem to Munich," and again in an interview last August with Don Yaeger of Sports Illustrated magazine. Abu Daoud said he was angered by the dozens of Palestinian terrorists allowed to return to the Palestinian territories as a result of the Oslo process while he remained persona non grata to Israel and the United States. Abu Mazen, Daoud complained, is now considered "respectable" even though he also was involved in the Munich attack. Abu Mazen, part of the Palestinian hierarchy for nearly four decades, has served as PLO executive committee chairman. In his book Abu Daoud states: "After Oslo in 1993, Abu Mazen went to the White House Rose Garden for a photo op with Arafat, President Bill Clinton and Israel's Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres. "Do you think that ... would have been possible if the Israelis had known that Abu Mazen was the financier of our operation? I doubt it.""
jokes from the land of the IRA !
http://www.jpost.com/MiddleEast/Article.aspx?ID=211849&R=R1 Have a nice day
An unequivocal condemnation of these killings is the right and the only reaction. No "buts". The perpetrators are wholly responsible for these acts. If he had said this on Saturday he could have stopped Netanyahu turning this individual crime into a collective crime. Unfortunately his first reaction was not so unequivocal. Therefore his sincerity is difficult to gauge.
Enjoy your ignorance.... http://www.jpost.com/MiddleEast/Article.aspx?ID=211849&R=R1
According to your link the condemnation was of "any act that targets civilians, regardless of their identity.” This is not an unequivocal condemnation of this act. Perhaps yo should look up the definition of "unequivocal".
Netanyahu,Barak and Sharon were present and involved in the massacre at Qibya...so why be precious Adam and state Abbas has no right to denounce terrorism as inhuman...according to your judgement neither can Netanyahu.
.. and as soon as the killers are caught, can begin planning a new town square or boulevard in Ramallah to name in their honor
HE SAYS OR IS FORCED TO SAY. MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN HIS POCKETS DEPENDED ON HE WELL SCRIPTED BUT DISHONEST SPEACH. A TRUE TWO HEADED SNAKE.
a question heard on CNN and other networks when talking about US intervention in Libya - but it applies here even more so. Slightly more important than what politicians would say don't you think?
About the same as the Israeli street after hearing about atrocities committed during Cast Lead. Pretty numb about the whole affair.
THERE WERE NO REAL ATROCITIES, IF YOU CARE TO READ OBJECTIVE MATERIAL, CONSIDERING THIS WAS A BATTLE. ON THE BELL CURVE OF INTELLIGENCE AND HONESTY, YOU ARE OFF THE CHARTS!
We always know when your " Hasbarrow" is getting close to empty---you come up with pure unsupportable (by credible sources) nonsense. I will give you another 3 months on here then like all your forbears you will move on to "Greener Pastures" to sow your zioproppo.
what would you have said to menachem begin??? he was a terrorist and changed.. i just feel pity for people like you who make peace impossible. and also quote some sources, otherwise your accusations are despicable
One:Abbas the perpetrator facillitator of ther massacred of the Israeli athletiist in Munich, TWO: The thesis he wrote DENYING the HOLOCASUST..I do not trust him or Fayyad and the REST of their bunch.Speaking from both sides of therir mouths
It is only going to get worse for the settlers. What are they doing in the West Bank anyway?
a thousand years.....of dear, that sounds like a long time. :-)
An acquired taste :)
Well you could try to get use to my type of humour and laugh with me (or at me alternatively)....
why are they called "settlers"? Quit this biblical nonsense. They are intruders.
THANKS
palestinians are probably the squatters:-) It makes as much sense as me asking to destroy several north african countries to re-create Numidia and live with all my fellow berbers like one big family or for the roman empire to be rebuild or any other...but some people refuse to hear reason....
tHE SAME PATTERN AS ARAFAT..Abbas wears a Suit..Arafat wore a kaffiyeh ..Theysay one thing in english(or Russian) The other totally different IN ARABIC
For the past few years especially since Arafat left, there has been calm and economic growth better than other Levant countries in the area due to Abbas's leadership. Infact, he is looked down upon by many arab people because of relentless efforts put into security cooperation with Israel whereby any violent palestinian or even supporter of resistance is detained and torutred. Thus, Netanyahu should choose his words carefully when criticizing his best partner ever for not doing much to create a calm atmosphere.
Netanyahu, please stop with this losing outdated strategy. It no longer applies to the environment and challenges Israel is facing.
Abbas is a politician with much more integrity, personal honesty, and a much more serious desire for truly seeking an honest solution for his long suffering people. That behaviour is 'felt' by other people. This makes his voice is being listened to. Bibi and team have lost all integrity by their obvious double agenda, talk and actions. That is why Israel is being eroded from the inside out. Israel is losing the core of its strength: its moral fiber. In the end, no amount of weaponry will make up for that loss. Sadly, but so.
As the saying goes, you can't polish a turd.
Then we might think you're sincere. Arafat used to play this game too. Denounce things in western media and then cheer baby killers in Arab media.
And they know that he appeases Israel. He has nothing to hide. He is a coward in Israeli eyes, Plestinians eyes, and all eyes.
What 32 said is silly. In this media age, the above statement is rediculous. Abbas statement recieved with satisfaction from the Palestinian public. It is time some Israelis lift their heads from the sand.
The Arabs know that when their leaders speak to the west, it's a different message. They know it's not a message for them, but for western ears. If he had addressed them on Pal TV, then it might have been different. Sweets will still be handed out in the town belonging to the baby killer.
However, lets face the true. The PA is doing a great job in distancing itself from terrorism. However what happened in Itamar is twhat usually happens within Palestinian pathological nationalism. Whenever an important faction of the palestinian people are decided to build and are eager to convince Israel society and the world that is worth of taking risks and letting a Palestinian state be enacted, the criminals reappear and thwart the PR initiative of the rational and pragmatic. Palestinian nationalism is a pathological one. Its ideological basis is destruction. Palestinian terrorism will undermine whatever the moderated will build. Sooner or later they will make them toe the line and follow suit. That is the difference between Zionist nationalism which is about building.... and Palestinian nationalism which at the end of the day is about destruction.
The 'palestinians' fool the world and Israel time and time again about their intentions for peace. Time and time again they resort to killing.
on other people's land. That is why it is destined for the dustbin of history the clear signs of which will be seen by September of this year.
The.very first mention of Jews in recorded history--on the Merneptah Stele still to be found in the Cairo Museum--had them already consigned to the dustbin of history..Sorry to tell you, buddy, the Jews will flourish on their Land a lot longer than you and your ilk desire.
It is only humans, who are capable of such acts, because only humans can make free will decisions based on hate. Such human beings called evil. Don't call them animals - those act based on the instincts
We should all join Mr Abbas and condomn the in human act which killed innocent humanbiengs. But we should wait till the securty specialist discover the brutal killer,We should remember Rishon Litsion massacre last year when the criminal Dimian Carlek killed six family members. We should keep on shouting against the killing of innocent human biengs
Mr. Abbas and his condomnation of this inhuman act an $1.50 will get you on the Metro. It is worthless, all words are worthless when you are dealing with a people that do not value life. They only know how to blame others, not accepy any responsibility for their actions.
The settler's State is presenting new constructions on illegally occupied Palestinian territories as a punition. It's not much less hypocritical than other explanations, but let's see it as a step in some better direction
because he knows that his people will slaughter him. bigshot in israel
GO FOR IT
So obviously that's the language he said it in
He always speaks through an interpreter when the language is English, people are accusing him of saying one thing in Arabic and one thing in English when he doesn't even speak English. Maybe he speaks Russian, never heard him speak that either though. His books are in Arabic.
But you? No, you're just a politician......
abbas allows public squares to be called after mass murderers, then acts surprised when the palestinians see these murderers as role models and tries to emulate them, hypocrite of the highest order would be a better term for abbas
You do know who Lehi was eh duncan????.
algerians celebrate resistants to french occupation, french celebrate resistance to german occupation etc... and to french, those algerians were terrorists, and to germans those french were also terrorists. do you get this? as it is still an ongoing conflict in your case, you see it as a major offense but in 50 yrs time, you will see it like us, a normal thing to do. we have enough distance with those conflicts to all accept those celebrations. i don't blame you for thinking the way you do, it is normal but ultimately those celebration are very common in any history. french a few decades ago were considering like heroes some generals who commited massacres on our soil. we let it go even if it offends the people who are still alive. i didn't live during this period so it does not affect me as such but it is still very real for you;hence the pain and outrage.
Let's hope he's not like Arafat, who condemned terror in English and praised it in the Arabic-speaking world.
assuming you live in Israel, that's a language you should consider learning. most of us learned it to be able able to communicate with the rest of our population and neighbours , that's hardly anyone's mother tong around here so why don't you see the practicality of you learning it while living in ME? odd. Abbas is way more of a leader than your Netanyahu will ever be. the man behaves responsibly and is moderate which seems to be a lacking quality in his israeli counterpart. terror, hartred and violence is despicable. hartred seems to be part of your everyday life considering what I can read about arabs on this website but some arabs think the same about israel, so I guess you are all playing games you all enjoy. I thought we were harsh on arabs but in some cases seen on Haaretz, the comments are close to pure hartred. that would make anyone feel dizzy but as I said, some of your neighbours comments in the press are just as disgusting.
Clearly, the PA should not be in any way endorsing recent violence. Though inevitably, just as Israel endorses Irgun terrorism, some PA endorsement of long ago freedom fighters/terrorists is probably inevitable. But the real point is that there is vast amounts of incitement coming from the very heart of the Israeli state. Too many politicians and rabbis endlessly justify the occupation, which is keeping an entire people hostage, endlessly justify the settlements, which are stealing another people's lands, endlessly deny the nakba, which is justifying ethnic cleansing and endlessly deny the Pals are a proper natiion deserving a proper state, which justifies disposession and oppression.
exactly how do you define stealing other peoples land , english weekenders buying cottages in wales ? denying the irish their island ?
"exactly how do you define stealing other peoples land , english weekenders buying cottages in wales ? denying the irish their island ?" There was a campaign of burning down English-owned holiday cottages and obviously there's a long history of IRA terrorism. Do you support that then? Either way I think you need to do a bit more reading so you don't become the b/s league. It would be ludicrous to compare the position of Irish and Welsh, with the Pals. The Welsh and Northern Irish all have full democratic rights as citizens of the UK and full freedomn of movement and rights to settle and work anywhere in the UK. The Pals don't have any democratic control whatsoever over their occupiers and little freedom of movement. The Welsh have been offered independence in a referendum but have opted for their own parliament and semi-independence instead. In Northern Ireland too, it's long been made clear that if a majority want union with Ireland, that will happen. How about asking a majority of West Bankers what they'd like, eh?
It is now occupied Palestine. Give it up 17--and grow up.
As I see many israelis are uneducated except PR ( Hasbara) knowledge
from what I would have described as a critic of Israel who I felt was well meaning and trying to be fair even though in my opinion was wrong to a far more extreme anti Israel poster. It seems you have now turned into another Chris Linthwaite but I still believe you are reasoned and well meaning old chap so please Michael just pause for a moment, take a deep breath and don't just see everything from the other side. I know your hatred for the Netanyahu is getting in the way but the Pals are not as innocent or squeaky clean as you now seem to believe.
Let's be frank BZ. All I ask of Israel is what most of the world aks of Israel. 1) Get out of almost all the West bank, excpet for minor mulually agreed land swaps 2) Find some fair compromise on right of return, probably meaning 100,000ish or less returning and compensation for the rest 3) Stop discrmination against Israeli Arabs. That's it. That's all I and most of the world ask. From the Arabs I demand that in return for that, they recognise Israel, prevent any attacks on it and allow back or compensate Jews expelled from Arab countries. Israel has the potential to be an amazing combination of the best of both east and west. BUT, Bibi and his idiots are taking Israel on a different path entirely. One that could easily lead to war and even destruction. And because Israel has so much power and the Pals have so little, what Bibi does or does not do, is vital. By not standing up to Bibi, you are assisting that.
A rocket shot from Gaza into an open field causes a military response, usually bombing. Murderers from the arabs in Judeah & Samaria deserve no less treatment. This abu harah mazan can preach all he wants in English, but his action speak much louder than his words. Any act against the Jews should be punished as in Gaza.
Abbas is well known as holaust denier, his thesis in Moscow in 1970 is an evidence. He incites to kill Jews, Bibi's response is clever and will be hard on Hamas. Building 1000 new homes in Judea-Samaria for Jews is natural.
The murderer was on or a very few sick individuals acting on their own accord. Punishing a whole nation for that is unvelievable. Imagine if a lone Jew commits a similar act in London... shall we punish all the Jews in England for it?
1. on this planet people tend to punish only criminals not a whole population 2. settlements are illegal. 3. basically you seem to have a problem with anything related to compliance with laws...that's my diagnosis. fix this before you become an outlaw
We could almost believe that it never happened in history...what about the claim (now dissmissed by the pope) that "the jews killed god's son"?
.....depriving Palestinians of their right to the land. That's what should be stopped & acknowledged there...No beating around the bush--anymore.. The whole is disturbed about this injustice also... Israeli officials are in deep trouble today... They are ushering in a worldwide boycott and uprising.....Dutch
that command Muslims to kill and humiliate Jews. Koran was written long before the settlements.
To cite ancient verses from the Koran as you do is the equivalent of citing such Biblical references as the god's orders to wipe oput the Amalekites. Jews lived in peace in Palestine for many centuries. Many of the "Arabs" there are descendants of Jews who opted for Islam.
Not the Koran or indeed the Hadith.... But the Zionist infidels illegally occupying Palestinian homes & land in the territories Dutch
Free Israel from the their demonizer and ones who want Israel to disappear. That IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN IS A GIVEN
Israelis will never be able to live in peace until they withdraw from ALL occupied territories (including west bank). It really shocks me that they are not able to understand this simple fact.
There was no peace before 1967, and there was no peace before 1948. Ever since the prophet of Islam wrote the Koran 1400 years ago, there has been no peace between Muslims and Jews.
Some people just like being difficult
Jews always lived in peace side to side with muslims in the middle east. When Arabs quit Spain, first thing the spanish did was to expel the jews. Anyway, the current problem is not a problem between muslims and jews; rather its between arabs and israelis because of occupied land, refugees etc..Many jews are against the state of israel and you know that quite well
The terrorattack in Itamar, and it´s repercussions and aftermath, is a sad and predictable show. 1. There are still people in the region who obviously are ready to commit heinous crimes. 2. Netanyahu seizes the PR-day and goes on a blitz in order to influence world opinion about Israel, and to "convince" us all that "they don´t want peace". 3. Abbas, under pressure, condemns the attack. We have seen it all about a million times. It´s a sad, pathetic and sickening spectacle. But you know what - the conflict hasn´t changed. So all the media- and PR-tricks by Netanyahu are in vain. And the same is true for Abbas and his gang.
Thats just life, things change and leaders have to realise that they can not control everything.
Despite the fact that every word Abbas said here was correct in my view, he should have said it on Saturday or early Sunday at the latest if he wanted to take some of the wind out of the sail of those who are now already seeking 'revenge'. Doesn't he have a PR guy?
A recent poll shows Israel has become one of the least popular countries in the world. Netanyahu had a perfect opportunity here to win back some popularity here. The murder of a baby and small children is a particularly horrible act. It was a perfect opportunity for Netanyahu to seize some moral high ground for Israel by asking everyone to reflect on the horror of violence and the need for real peace and reconciliation. Instead, he has made Israel look even worse than the Palestinian side. The murder of the family is totally despicable but has been condemned by the PA and is clearly the act of isolated extremists. By contrast, the expansion of settlements is Israeli government policy and the act of extremists right at the heart of Israel.
If Israel used this despicable event for PR, plenty would claim it was immoral to exploit terror for "propaganda". Probably you yourself would be enraged. And when Israel restrains itself, you write that it missed an opportunity! Fortunately, Israel's policy is not dependant on your opinion, and while mistakes are natural for all individuals, organisations and governments, Israel will remain strong and prosper. You should focus more on things back home Michael, your country is a disaster. Your former government bankrupted the country and your present government has no idea what it is doing, yet is free to operate by the absence of a credible opposition. The opposition is deeply hated by the masses for their part in destroying your country, and their present leader is pathetic. Worry about your own future, your own pension, your own cost of living, your own sinking island before wasting your time on issues that are of no relevance to your life.
Incitement against Jews in the mosques and TV of the PA is a documented fact. Here are a few lovely videos showing this, there are many more like them. And this is just what was caught on tape. Imagine how much more goes on out of the view of the camera: http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/669.htm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjuDTO8fgqM http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=676&fld_id=676&doc_id=1626 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbEpqtPn5QQ&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs0xLdFqU_s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFz8DwvJP6Q&feature=related With all this evidence how can Abbas call for an investigation. Its all on the web easy for all to see.
Then i can surly show you some "Videos" of some of your Hardcore Rabbi's ? Then we can talk about "incitement".......
you CAN corroborate them...yes?
Some of them write subtitles that have nothing to do with what people say in Arabic...
Shortly after the Oslo Agreements, Arafat told his people that on occassion, he would make statements to Western Reporters and diplomats that seemed to contradict the policy of his "Palestinian revolution" but his people could remain assured that these were merely tactical moves in order get support from the West and Israelis. Abbas' statement should be seen in that light.
Abbas is merely stating the obvious but its encouraging that he went ahead and said it (too bad some of the Israel bashers on Haaretz.com can't bring themselves to say the same) and its a shame that our own right wing is so quick to dismiss him out of hand. Abbas and Fayad have brought about a quiet revolution in the WB, stability, security and economic growth did not just happen on their own, they're the direct result of their rule. It's time for Bibi to pull his head out of the sand, stop settlement expansion and take real action to advance a 2 state solution to the Israeli-Pal conflict, not because we don't love Eretz Yisrael or don't have rights in all of Eretz Yisrael but because all of the other alternatives ARE WORSE for both Israelis and Palestinians.
Killing children is a despicable horror, but how on earth can parents take their kids in an outpost on Palestinian land when they could safely raise them in Israel?
Because it is in historical Israel. The land is disputed territory and not "Palestinian."
in which said court ruled the West banlk as being held under "Belligerent Occupation" by Israel. This disputed territory fantasy has long since been dissolved.
At what point do you think those "Moinsters" will stop hating you. how far east do you think you can colonise before they finally agree to be your ever lasting next door neighbours. Thinking ahead does not seem to be your forte---or more notably those who you support.
May 15, 1948 Letter From the Agent of the Provisional Government of Israel to the President of the United States, “MY DEAR MR. PRESIDENT: I have the honor to notify you that the state of Israel has been proclaimed as an independent republic within frontiers approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations in its Resolution of November 29, 1947, and that a provisional government has been charged to assume the rights and duties of government for preserving law and order within the boundaries of Israel, for defending the state against external aggression, and for discharging the obligations of Israel to the other nations of the world in accordance with international law. The Act of Independence will become effective at one minute after six o’clock on the evening of 14 May 1948, Washington time.” Also available as PDF from the Truman Library May 22, 1948 The reply of the Provisional Government of Israel (S/766) to the questions addressed to the “Jewish authorities in Palestine” was transmitted by the acting representative of Israel at the United Nations on May 22. Question (a): Over which areas of Palestine do you actually exercise control at present over the entire area of the Jewish State as defined in the Resolution of the General Assembly of the 29th November, 1947? “In addition, the Provisional Government exercises control over the city of Jaffa; Northwestern Galilee, including Acre, Zib, Base, and the Jewish settlements up to the Lebanese frontier; a strip of territory alongside the road from Hilda to Jerusalem; almost all of new Jerusalem; and of the Jewish quarter within the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. The above areas, outside the territory of the State of Israel, are under the control of the military authorities of the State of Israel, who are strictly adhering to international regulations in this regard. The Southern Negev is uninhabited desert over which no effective authority has ever existed.” June 15, 1949 Israel-s position on its frontiers VOLUMES 1-2: 1947-1974 “As for the frontier between the State of Israel and the area west of the Jordan which is not included in Israel…” Laws and Customs of War on Land (Hague IV); October 18, 1907 Art. 42 SECTION III “Territory is considered occupied when it is actually placed under the authority of the hostile army. The occupation extends only to the territory where such authority has been established and can be exercised. “ http://wp.me/pDB7k-KL try to disprove it
I will rejoice when I hear a Palestinian leader say such things on Palestinian radio or TV. Until then I am forced to conclude that these words of humanity are purely for external consumption. This is what is meant by incitement. To continue to tell your people that such acts are acceptable because of.....whatever.
But Israelis have not realized that yet. You have freaks in both sides and attrocieites like that will continue to happen in both sides. The autorithies on both sides have the moral obligation to condemn these acts. As Palestinians did. Hamas, on the other side, celebrated the murder. This shows there is a difference between them.
... and the day Israel changes her mind and believes in Fatah we are lost. You are naïve, my dear - or you are sympathetic with a disguised eneymy of Israel.
Fatah is Israel's stooge and corrupt, even palestinian kids know that
He only says something because Israel decided to build after this horror that we associate with pals.
they don't need a reason to continue building. In the meantime even the most biased countries in favour of Israel, i.e. Germany, have understood this !!
Took him long enough to not say something wishy-washy. Now will he say it in Arabic, so his own people hear it too?
No incitement you say?
Why has he only today condemned the terror attack? Why not on Saturday or Sunday? What was he waiting for? How can he reject the notion of Palestinian incitement when they name soccer tournaments and streets and squares after suicide bombers. They give gifts of money to people who are killed whilst carrying out suicide attacks. What si this if not incitement? Time for you to go, Mr. Abbas. Where is Mr. Mudar Zahran when you need him? Israel should support Zahran as head of the Palestinain people with its state in Jordan as Zahran suggests. Time to overthrow the Hashemite dictatorship and pull down the apartheid which denies palestinians their rights in Jordan.
From arab lands were dispossesd also the great Nakba of a=Jews from arab and iranian,Iraqi lands.Jews who had lived there from well before Islam was thought of.Not one apology not one UN resolution smells of racism to me.
it is quite common for nations to expel or inter in times of war. The US, UK, Australia all did during WW2. Furthermore, ISRAELI Military order 1948 forbade their return to an hostile entity from Israel.
where should they go? Are they allowed to move around in the Arab world without being controlled and humiliated?
Care to cite anyone who has called it an inhumane policy...thx
Be glad Israelis are not like me ,If I were an Israeli I would have never admitted pal patients
I don't know if you are a parent (I suspect not), but if one of my children were sick and there was no other medical care I would bring my children to ANYONE, no matter how horrible.
and where are reports of "inhumane treatment of pal sick children in Israeli hospitals" ? Your snide remarks only confirm duplicity of pals and their supporters
A few statistics. Palestinian life expectancy at 73.4 years is number 77 on a list of 191 countries. This life expectancy is much higher than e.g. Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Hungary, Lithuania and Latvia. The Palestinian infant mortality rate is 17,5 per thousand infants. This is much lower than the aforementioned countries. The infant mortality rate in Iran is 30.6. Oh, those horrible, inhuman Israelis/Zionists/Jews (multiple choice)!!
Go to Palmedia watch to see how Abbas PA media glorifies and names streets and stadiums after terrorists who murder civilians. www.palwatch.org
After: Yitzchak Rabin (peace prize laureate) Anwar Sadat (peace prize laureate) Menahem Begin (peace prize laureate) Abraham Lincoln (helped end slavery) George Washington (created a country based on the idea that all men are equal) Albert Einstein Other scientists 'HaZayit' (means olive - the worldwide symbol for peace) Biblical names Lots of Arab philosophers and statesmen, Saladin, We have no 'Baruch Goldstein' street and yet Palestinians name theres after suicide bombers.
Rabin who ordered to break the bones of the Palestinian protesters? Menahim Begin - I really don't need further elaboration here ! Anwar Sadat a peaceful person? then you mention foreign statemen ! and wait until Liebermann and all the right wing scum is Prime Minister then you'll have a Baruch Goldstein street.
We do not look at life and death as you do. We are ashamed by Baruch Goldstein. He did not act as a representative of my people.
