Abbas adopts 'Dershowitz Formula' for resuming talks with Israel

I doubt this. Nothing was seen about it in US. He may have met with the organization but to submit to Israeli superiority??? And face it Dershowitz is hardly an "honest broker" He is considered pro-"Erratz Israe"l in the US and we rarely listen to a thing he says. And what about a de-militarized Palestine as Netanyahu reiterated at the UN. You actually think Palestinians are going to lay down the little guns in surrender while Israel keeps it tanks and bombers and nuclear bombs? You guys are fooling yourselves.

Two generations of Palestinians have been educated on hostorical falsehoods thanks to the Palestinian Hero and a Nobel Laureate Dr. Arrafat.

A patriotic Amercian and a great and loyal Jew. Dershowitz olves Israel and the Jewish people and has proven it over a lifetime of active support. Having said that I think it totally inappropriate for him to exercise diplomacy in the name of Israel creating pressures and expectations which the Government may not want. Dershowitz is not privy to all the intelligence and political calculations or discussions between various parties. It is an act of supreme hubris to do what he did. Love him anyway but Chaval.

Dershowitz is the least likely candidate for an honest broker award and everyone knows it, Abbas included. He is an egomaniac, however, so I suspect he is very pleased to have this initiative referred to as the Dershowitz Formula.

Prof. Dershowitz and former congressman Wexler have been passionate American spokesmen for peace in the ME and it's quite a compromising stance for President Abbas to agree to begin talks if there's a settlement freeze while the peace talks are taking place. Netanyahu has once again shown that he is adamantly against a viable 2-state settlement by asking American Jewish leaders to boycott the meeting. It is glaringly obvious that such an outcome can now only be achieved in the international arena. It can not be otherwise with Israel doing all it can to avoid any form of negotiations with the Palestinians.

Palestinians are looking for any excuse to avoid accepting Israel as a Jewish country. They are being aided and abetted by Jewish appeasers and apologists who appear ready to give anything just to hear a good word from the Palestinians. Palestinians just take advantage of these people with no intent to accept a Jewish Israel.
