Even if it is unclear from my writing, I make the personal distinction between well meaning Arabs, Arab people in general and Arab leaders. I must emphasize I hold no animosity towards well meaning Arabs and the Arab people in general, however policy towards Israel is dictated by corrupt Arab dictators so, often as I write impassioned I do not clarify that I mean bad Arab leaders, or terrorist (those who actively harm innocents or their supporters), not those well meaning Arabs that many Jews like myself have friendships with. that aside, there are situations that call for empathy and those that don't. I think empathy should be employed for the situation as a whole, but for this incident, I will give no empathy for the man who was killed and some empathy for the woman and child involved. I am weary of what their association was to the person killed and why they were present with him. Not to beat a dead horse, why would a man, any man, if he knew danger was around the corner, bring a woman and a child along?

Like I said in my previous response to you, we want peace but we will also defend ourselves. These are not innocent farmers, there are no farms near the boarder. The zone is in some cases ten or fewer steps outside the door of some people's houses. Sometimes, depending on the IDF whim, it is in the kitchen or bathroom of some houses. It's movable.
