The Haifa Magistrate's Court on Friday extended the remand of a father and son, aged 37 and 16, arrested late Thursday night on suspicion of murdering Khaled Ranaim, 27.

The incident in question occurred Thursday evening when two masked men entered a cafe in Fureidis owned by Ranaim and opened fire, wounding Ranaim and a customer.

An eyewitness reported that after the shooting, the gunmen returned to their car and threw a hand grenade into the restaurant. The grenade however, failed to detonate.

The wounded were evacuated in critical condition to 'Hillel Yafe Hospital" in Hadera, where Ranaim succumbed to his wounds.

Police suspect the shooting was part of an ongoing feud between criminal elements in the city.

And when the murderer is eventually caught then the apologists will tell us that he is an innocent political prisoner and demand his release because he's an Arab in an Israeli jail.
