Eyal and Tal set off to work every morning without reason to dread the perilous road to central Tel Aviv. They have the luxury of being exempt from bumper-to-bumper traffic, irritable drivers, and the everlasting search for parking.

Eyal travels for 20 minutes by scooter from his northern Tel Aviv neighborhood of Kochav Hatsafon to his office in south Tel Aviv. Tal's is a 45-minute bike ride to the city from the suburb of Hod Hasharon.

It's virtually impossible to conceive of a party which doesn't benefit from these alternative means of transport. Beyond the exercise and economic prudence, the city also enjoys a growing movement to reduce the cars clogging our streets.

And several corporations have recently joined the cause.
