Allegedly drunk driver crashes into Netanyahu's London convoy

A woman driver, believed by police to be drunk, collided with one of the cars accompanying Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in London on Monday. There were no injuries, but the convoy vehicle, which was carrying security personnel, was badly damaged.

The woman apparently lost control of her car, emerged from a side street as Netanyahu's convoy was driving through an intersection and crashed into one of the cars. Her car was totally destroyed although she was uninjured.

Netanyahu and his wife were on their way back to a London hotel after attending a dinner on Monday night when the accident took place.

The convoy did not stop and continued driving, in keeping with security regulations.
