Ahmadinejad: 9/11 attacks a 'big fabrication'
Iranian President accuses U.S. of using attacks as an excuse to justify the war on terrorism.

Ahmadinejad, who often rails against the West and Israel, made the comment in a meeting with Intelligence Ministry personnel.
It came amid escalating tension in the long-running dispute between Iran and the West over Tehran's nuclear program, with the United States pushing for new UN sanctions against the major oil producer.
Ahmadinejad described the destruction of the twin towers in New York on Sept. 11, 2001 as a "complicated intelligence scenario and act," IRNA reported.
He added: "The September 11 incident was a big fabrication as a pretext for the campaign against terrorism and a prelude for staging an invasion against Afghanistan." He did not elaborate.
Nearly 3,000 people died in the hijacked airliner attacks on New York and Washington, which were carried out by Al-Qaida operatives.
In January, Ahmadinejad termed the Sept. 11 attacks "suspicious" and accused the West of seeking to dominate the Middle East.
Ahmadinejad, who has called for Israel to be wiped off the map, was re-elected in a disputed presidential vote last June that stirred the largest display of internal unrest in the country since the 1979 Islamic revolution.

The Iranian youth are pro-West, and despise the nutcases in charge. Attacking Iran would only serve to alienate that important ally. It would also serve to bolster Ahmadinejad, and his coalition of hard liners. Not a good idea.
This is an amazing example of insanity: "We will hopefully see him being bombed and his regime in tatters." FYI, Iran is NOT Iraq, Afghanistan, or Grenada. Iran has teeth, and will bite back. You will not crow so loudly with your fake machismo when your bombers are shot out of the sky...and furthermore, any country with even a mediocre air defense system would be shooting Predator drones out of the sky. The Iranian leader is just another in a long line of government officials who have made this claim, both inside and outside the USA. The Japanese parliament, former Malaysian PM Mahatir, Former German intelligence services chief Andreas Von Beulow, Former Italian PM Francisco Cossiga and many other high profile personalities have made the obvious connection that 911 could not have happened without intelligence service co-operation. Anyone with 1/2 a brain has figured this out already. One more thing Haaretz, the world also knows that Ahmadinejad NEVER called for Israel to be wiped off the map, in fact the UK Guardian published a retraction after having his speech correctly translated by a professor of Farsi language. What he really said was "The zionist regime must vanish from the pages of time" not referring to the state of Israel but the government of Israel. Publishing 1/2 truths seriously damages any credibility you may hope to have and as such relegates you to gutter mag status

Ahmadinejad is not on the illuminati team and therefore they will do whatever they can to discredit and probably kill him. Anyone who's taken any time at all to look, knows that 911 was a big fabrication - so Ahmadinejad is speaking the truth there.

But, we all watched the buildings fall, over and over and over and over. The way those buildings fell did not match the the government's official version of what happened. Too many questions. Anyone who reads articles pertaining to the Middle East from the years 1996- 2000 in the journals 'Foreign Policy' and 'Foreign Affairs' can quite easily read between the lines and see that these wars have been 'in the works' for quite some time and an event was needed to garner public support. The only problem is that they made such a hash of it that everyone is questioning all that we've been told about the other wars now and the birthrate of those that they hoped to send to fight has dropped off a cliff as a result. Ahmadinejad never said "Israel should be wiped off the map". Surely any self respecting news agency could actually use an accurate quote to show how dangerous he is. If he's that bad why rely on fabrication? Obama said at his first press conference, "should Iran aquire a nuclear weapon it could START an arms race in the region". Israel has already started that arms race and Obama knows it. Why the lies? The mutual assured destruction that worked so well for the US and the USSR during the cold war would be a wonderful thing thing for the Middle East. I look forward to seeing if Ahmadinejad can keep a straight face when he says, "We neither confirm nor deny that Iran has big shiny green atomic bomb with red and white fins". There is overwhelming but supressed informaton implicating Israel. The "unbreakable bond" between the US and Israel means that any act, no matter how vile, committed by Israel will be supported by the US even against the US. Remember the USS Liberty?
