You always make it seem as if stones, rockets, suicide bombers, etc. are just something to be shrugged off by a long-suffering people who should be used to being the target of violence by now. After all, if Jews went thru the holocaust and survived, why shouldn't they be able to shrug off these petty inconveniences? It's easy to sit in your arm chairs while you keyboard in your belittling comments and pretended solidarity with your favorite "oppressed population" of the moment. But you should go to Israel to experience the violence; then maybe you have a legitimate right to comment.
I'm sorry that you lost a friend, but the people of Gaza lost many, maany friends.
hurling stones in a city is civil crime and a police act is needed against crime u can never blame the police for arrestin for criminal acts. Gaza war was a war. there fore cannot be compared. gaza war was not caused by stone hurling people it was caused by a political and military aggression! so phosphorus against Rockets re fair. dont tell me rockets re not fatal... its an attack from a land to an other sovereign country. and deserve a response. there is no proportional war! If there was there would be no victor in the history of humans.
"A 2 Ton Vehicle is extremely dangerous and would be construed as a criiminal offence here in Canada possibly attempted Murder" That's very true, dents could actually have been made in those 2 ton vehicles and that would have been awful. The IDF's weapon of choice should be stones. No-one would be safe then...
Personally, I lost a friend to a thrown stone. A stone is very much a potentialy deadly weapon, particularly if a sling shot is used. When people try to draw a moral equivalence between the actions of a nation at war responding to 8,000 rockets aimed at civilians as the exact equivalent of thugs throwing rocks at municipal workers and police motivated by simple, ignorant hatred, those people have really told us that they are amoral and without any moral judgment.
... or half tonne bombs, or rockets, or high velocity rounds. I bet the Pals are really grateful the IDF weren't armed with stones when they invaded Gaza. Stones could have really hurt someone.
A 2 Ton Vehicle is extremely dangerous and would be construed as a criiminal offence here in Canada possibly attempted Murder as your not only endagering the people in the vehicle but also any passer-bys. How the pal arabs get away with that is beyond comprehension. Throwing stones is a WEAPON!
They bite the hand that feeds them, and feeds them without them paying the taxes that they should be paying. We shouldn't tolerate that. Let them live with open sewers and without running water or electricity for a while, shut down their schools and all other publicly-funded institutions until they pay their taxes and stop their violence.
