5 Qassams Hit Negev; Sderot Students Moved Out of Range for Exams

No injuries in rocket strikes; IDF troops arrest 21 wanted Palestinians in territories, most members of Hamas.

Palestinian militants fired five Qassam rockets at the western Negev early Monday.

There were no reports of injuries or damage in the salvo.

Two of the rockets were believed to have struck the area of the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council, and another, the council's industrial zone.

The Education Ministry said high-school students in the rocket-battered border town of Sderot were moved to areas out of rocket range in order to take their final matriculation exams.

Overnight, Israel Defense Forces troops arrested 21 wanted Palestinians in raids in the territories, most of them members of Hamas.

In the West Bank city of Nablus, gunmen opened fire on IDF soldiers. There were no injuries in the incident.
