Raphael Ahren is the Jerusalem correspondent for Haaretz English Edition.

Born and raised in Germany, Ahren moved to Israel in 2008. Before joining Haaretz, Ahren was a staff reporter at The Jewish Press in Brooklyn and assistant editor of The Jewish Star on Long Island, New York.
Ahren holds an M.A. in modern Jewish history from Yeshiva University and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
