Charlotte Halle has been editor of Haaretz English Edition since February 2008 and responsible for English-language content on all platforms since 2011. She joined the newspaper in 1999 and has held several editorial positions, including a lengthy stint as a reporter.
Born and raised in London, Halle worked as a youth and community worker with drug users, offenders and homeless young people in prisons and on the streets, before moving to Tel Aviv in 1999.
She has a Master's degree in Applied Anthropology from Goldsmiths, University of London and is married with three children.
