This slogan is a relic from a time long gone. The resolution was mistake as Zionism in and of itself did not need to be implemented in such a racist manner. Zionism is a broad term and can't be shoe horned into a simple slogan. The condemnations should saved exclusively for the Jewish State which is practising a stubborn and brutal colonialism...perhaps the last vestige of this old corrupt idealogy left in the world today. How do you beat this into brains: God is not a real estate agent and the Bible is not a binding land deed! The UN can't possibly go after ever nation for racist practises or its lack of freedom/human rights. The UN decided long ago and rightly so, to focus efforts on conflicts between nations and people's. This is why Israel had been singled out so often....AND RIGHTLY SO. Israel's racism towards her unwanted Palestinian subjects in Gaza and the West Bank rivals anything you see in the Muslim world. People should stop pointing fingers at others and start looking within, Arabs and Muslims included! Israelis: The time is NOW to push your government on the path to PEACE and JUSTICE and away from EXPANDING BORDERS AND BRUTAL OCCUPATION. Arabs and Muslims: The time is now to reach out to the Jewish State. Let them know over and over again (because they are a paranoid and stubborn lot) that PEACE IS ON THE HORIZON IF THEY SIMPLY END THE STATE TERROR CALLED OCCUPATION! There is so much to be gained for all parties.

A milestone birthday is as good an opportunity as any for a midlife crisis about the Middle East crises.
