As someone once observed: We Jews tried for 2000 years to become Europeans, but to no avail, as Herzl found out - the moment we leave, we suddenly become ones? That's ridiculous! We have no European 'mother country', half of us don't even have ancestors who left the Middle East (Iraqi Jews and Egyptian Jews - Israelis today - already lived for more than thousand years in the Middle East, before the Arabs came from their Peninsula to conquer it), almost a third of us is a mix between Middle Eastern Jews an 'European' ones. You have little knowledge about who we are, and what we will be will be determined by us. The time white Europeans tell us what to do, where to live, how to live, and who we are is over, as is the time when Arab Imperialists insist there is no place (or only a 4th class place) in the Middle East for non-Arab people's (Jews, Kurds, Egyptians-Kopts, Assyrian-Nestorians, Aramaic-Christians, Berber people).
