Most Jews and especially Israeli Jews are Zionists - being that its essence is that the Jewish people should return to their homeland. There's a difference between a Zionist who believes in pursuing the Greater Israel form of Zionism as supposedly stipulated in the Torah. The latter is what Mr. Arens seems to espouse to this type of Zionism, but don't quote me for certain. Nevertheless, it's my opinion that Herzl, Jabotinsky and David Ben Gurion would today, given the global situation and pretty well the moderate Arab world's acceptance of Israel, that they would have supported PM Olmert and FM Tzipi Livni of Kadima.
